The slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is where the journey of my life began. I spent my entire academic career in various international schools where a variety of cultures molded me into the open-minded person that I am today. Completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma program in 2006 was a monumental step forward towards the desire to fulfill my duty as an active member of society.

Joining Columbus State University in 2007 has accelerated my progress and opened my eyes to a new world of possibilities. My experiences in the International Student Service Scholarship, Model African Union and Model Arab League conferences have taught me the importance of community awareness along with the art of diplomacy.
