Meet the TTSS Staff 

Transfer and Transition Student Services is in located in the Enrollment Services area of University Hall.  Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Our phone number is (706) 507-8800.  Our fax number is (706) 568-2462.

Stephanie Coker

Name: Stephanie Speer

 Title: Chief Transfer Officer

 Hometown: LaGrange, GA

 What and where I studied: I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Columbus State University in 2004.  I also graduated from CSU with my Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2006.

 What I do: If you have questions about what courses transfer from your previous institution, I can help!  My main responsibility is creating CSU equivalents for transfer courses and applying these courses towards your degree progress report.

 Why I am a Transfer Counselor: I really enjoy meeting new people.  I also love helping people.  I promise to always have a smile on my face and help you to the very best of my ability.

 In my spare time: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, watching movies, and singing.

 Something extra about me: I am a self-proclaimed chocolate and lip balm addict.

TTSS Objectives 

  • Provide information on transfer course equivalencies and application of transfer courses toward degree progress

  • Provide transition services and resources in an effort to acclimate transfer students to the Columbus State University culture

  • Enhance the quality of the transfer student experience supporting students through graduation

  • Increase visibility of services and resources available for transfer students

  • Increase the number of transfer students through successful transition at Columbus State University

  • Evaluate transfer student data on an on-going basis to assess effectiveness of services and resources
