Haitian Relief
Following the 7.0 earthquake that has devastated Haiti, Columbus State University students, faculty and staff have organized a relief effort that involves collecting resources for the victims and an information campaign to deepen the local understanding of Haitian society and inspire a long-term commitment to helping rebuild the island republic just 700 miles from U.S. shoreline.

The Honors Program presents Red Cross and university representatives, including CSU President Tim Mescon, discussing the earthquake and relief effort. Refreshments provided by Chick-fil-A. Donations collected at the door for distribution by the Red Cross. 706-565-3677
KAPPA iKARE Charity Basketball Event, 7-10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, Woodruff Gym
Admission — as a spectator or participant — will be $1 and-or non-perishable food items. Anyone can participate. Competitions include three-point shoot out, two-person relay races and a slam-dunk contest.
