Consider the costs carefully
Students should expect to pay tuition, housing, meal plans (optional
for upperclassmen) and fees. (Many fees are set by the Board of
Regents of the University System of Georgia.) CSU operates under a Guaranteed Tuition Plan that:
- Guarantees or “freezes” tuition at a fixed rate for four years
(12 consecutive semesters) for new freshmen. (See CSU's
tuition and fee chart
and housing costs
information.)
- Guarantees tuition at a fixed rate for two years (six consecutive
semesters) for students transferring into the University System of
Georgia.
- Makes it easier for students and families to plan for college
expenses.
- Applies to degree-seeking undergraduate students only.
- Does not apply to housing, meals, mandatory fees or lab fees,
which are subject to annual increases.
