Why can't I log into CougarNet?
  • You are entering an incorrect password or user name
  • If you are a new student, faculty or staff, your password is your birth date in the format of DDMMYY.
  • Your account was disabled or suspended after 3 unsuccessful login attempts
  • You reset your password, but did not allow enough time for the CougarNet and ISIS passwords to synchronize
  • Your password is more than 6 alphanumeric characters in length
  • You changed your ISIS password. Your CougarNet password is the same 6 characters as your ISIS password
  • Your application for enrollment has not yet been accepted
  • You don’t have a CougarNet account
  • Your birthdate or name on file in ISIS is incorrect
 
What is my CougarNet Password?
  • If you are a new student, faculty or staff, your password is your birth date in the format of DDMMYY (i.e. March 1, 1970 = 010370)
  • Your password is 6 alphanumeric characters in length
 
Why can't I change my CougarNet Password?
  • You don’t know your CSUID
  • You have not setup a security question in ISIS
  • You forgot the answer to your security question in ISIS

I can’t log into CougarNet or ISIS or reset my password. Who do I contact to get help?

  • An entering freshman
  • A new faculty or staff
  • An enrolled student
  • An employed faculty or staff
 Contact Enrollment Services if you are
  • A future student who has not received a “Letter of Acknowledgement”
  • An Alumni
  • A former student (Longer than a year)
