Qualifications of applicants for presidency reviewed; 29 nominated

After the Presidential Search and Advisory Committee met Feb. 26, committee chair Dr. George Stanton offered an update:

 At present, more than 300 names have been considered in some fashion; 29 of these were nominated. Thirty-six applications are complete. At this point, there are no local candidates.

On March 3, Parker Executive Search will post the completed curriculum vitae for access by committee members. On March 12, the opportunity to apply or be nominated comes to a “soft close.” Names provided after that date will be considered only if the search and screening committee wishes to do so. All curriculum vitae will be available to the committee at this time.

On March 15, the committee will meet to select candidates to be invited for personal interviews in Atlanta on the weekend of March 28. After the committee meets for those interviews, semi-finalist candidates will be invited for on-campus interviews.
