RiverPark campus housing prices

Apartments at CSU’s RiverPark campus are available through CSU Foundation Properties on a first-come, first-serve basis. Prices listed here are per person/per semester for fall 2007 and spring 2008 semesters:

  • Shared bedroom, $2,400.
  • One-bedroom shared, $2,600.
  • Private bedroom, $2,800.

New applicants will be assigned to a shared bedroom, meaning four residents occupy a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment — two people per bedroom and bath; all four residents share the living room and kitchen. In the one-bedroom shared arrangement, two residents share a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment. Private bedroom arrangements, available to upperclassmen, refer to a resident having a private bedroom and bath but sharing living room and kitchen with two others.

Students seeking any living arrangement other than shared bedroom must contact CSU Foundation Properties’ Student Housing office to be placed on a waiting list.

Prices for the summer 2008 semester are:

  • Shared bedroom, $1,150.
  • One-bedroom shared, $1,250.
  • Private bedroom, $1,350.

Prices for the 2008 “May semester” are:

  • Shared bedroom, $700.
  • One-bedroom shared, $750.
  • Private bedroom, $900.

Other important details for prospective CSU RiverPark apartment residents:

  • All applications for the fall 2007 semester will cover a 10-month period that includes the spring 2008 semester.
  • A $25 non-refundable application fee must accompany the application to be processed.
  • A $300 deposit is also required, but it’s refundable if the applicant isn’t accepted to CSU as a student or if CSU Foundation Properties is unable to offer an apartment.
  • That $300 deposit serves as a damage deposit if a student is accepted as a resident at CSU's RiverPark campus.
  • The applicant can get $200 of that deposit back if the applicant cancels in writing with the housing manager at least 30 days before classes begin.
  • A $500 contract buyback is required if the student’s housing contract is canceled during the 10-month rental agreement period, if the student doesn’t completely withdraw from CSU as a student.
  • Terms and conditions for student occupancy.

All apartments feature:

  • Full kitchens and living rooms.
  • Utilities, local phone calls and enhanced cable TV.
  • A high-speed Internet connection.
  • And basic furnishings.

Furnishings in the bedroom include a twin bed (unless otherwise told), a chest of drawers and desk with chair for each resident. Living room furnishings include a couch with loveseat, entertainment center (TV not included), coffee table, end tables and dining table with chairs. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher.

Students are given an opportunity to request roommates in their applications; roommates can also be assigned. Read the Terms and Conditions section of the application carefully to be aware of policies governing the student resident’s rental agreement with CSU Foundation Properties, including payment and move-in, move-out dates.
