Dates of Occupancy: Students may occupy assigned space from the date designated as the official opening of Student Housing to the date designated as the end of the semester in the university academic calendar.

Assignments: While every attempt will be made to honor building preferences, room request, and mutual roommate requests, CSU staff reserves the right to assign and re-assign students to other rooms if it is in the best interest of the overall program. Assignments are made in the following priority order: (1) Returning residents, (2) Date of receipt of application and reservation fee, (3) Specific request of an applicant. The CSU staff is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination. When the name of a roommate is not expressed, Student Housing will assign individuals without regards to race, creed, or national origin.

You can pay fees by credit card on-line, by phone to the Business Office or by check or cash to the Business Office. A current resident must inform the Student Housing Office in writing (30) days prior to the end of their current semester as confirmation of not returning in order to receive a refund. Rooms will be held until the last day of the regular registration, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Residence Life Office. This contract will serve as a ten-month contract if negotiated for Fall 2009 semester and will continue thru the Spring 2010 semester. If you are interested in canceling your housing contract early, a $500 contract buy out fee is required.

Damage/ Reservation Deposit: Rooms are assigned based on the receipt of the housing application and deposit based on the waiting list. A portion of the deposit will be refunded if all conditions have been met and after all deductions have been made for damages or special cleaning.
