Strategic Planning Commission Planning Timeline
2004 - 2005

November

• Mission, vision statements development

• Input from campus on select mission and regional designation opportunities

• Campus input on mission, vision, values statements

December

• Submit mission and vision statements to Dr. Saunders (Dec. 1, 2004)

• Begin development of value statements supporting mission and vision

• Chairpersons develop working schedule for respective subcommittees

• SACS standards assigned to SPC submitted to SACS director.

January

• SPC membership convenes to review subcommittee schedules/discussion as necessary

• Subcommittee on review of 2000-2005 Strategic Plan underway

• Subcommittee on Internal and External Analyses underway

• Subcommittee on Sector Change recommendation underway

February

• Subcommittee on Internal and External Analyses reports findings to SPC

• Strategic Goals Committee begins draft of proposed strategic goals for 2005-2010

• Late February – Sector Change Subcommittee recommendation to SPC

• Late February – 2000-2005 Strategic Plan Analysis report to SPC

March

• Internal and External Analyses Subcommittee proposes draft strategic goals to SPC, internal and external communities

• Final report on Sector Change.

April

• Executive summary and final report to Dr. Saunders
